Abstract:
In this paper, SPSS statistical analysis software was used for correlation analysis of water temperature, pH, DO, CODMn, NH3-N, NH3, TN, TP and Chl-a of the rare fish protected area in Laibin section of Hong River, with the aims at provision of references for the water monitoring staff and data assessment, improvement of data quality, and timely understanding of the changes in water quality by variation of the correlation coefficients. The results showed that there were close relationships between Chl-a and the environmental factors. Chl-a and TN and TP were negatively correlated, and Chl-a and NH3-N and NH3 were positively correlated with the correlation coefficient as 0.30 and 0.41 respectively. There were various degrees of positive correlations between Chl-a and water temperature, pH and DO. Correlation between Chl-a and CODMn was significantly positive, with the correlation coefficient as 0.44. N/P was ranged from 7.4 to 166.1, indicating that phosphorus in the water was a limiting factor for eutrophication. There were relatively stable correlations between the nutrients salt and other environmental factors. TP and pH was significantly negatively correlated with the correlation coefficient as -0.52. NH3 and pH, NH3-N and DO, NH3-N and DO were significantly positively correlated, with the correlation coefficients as 0.51, 0.77 and 0.75. The correlation coefficient of NH3 and NH3-N reached to 0.72. DO and water temperature was significantly negatively correlated with the correlation coefficient as -0.44. DO and pH was significantly positively correlated with the correlation coefficient as 0.33. However, DO and CODMntended to be negatively correlated.
