软锰矿-污泥活性炭的制备及其对废水中铅离子的吸附
Preparation of activated charcoal from pyrolusite-added sewage sludge and adsorption of lead ion in wastewater

摘要: 以城市污水处理厂的剩余污泥为原料,掺杂一定量的软锰矿,采用氯化锌活化法制备一种软锰矿-污泥活性炭,并运用比表面积测定、电镜扫描、红外光谱分析及O2-TPO等表征手段对软锰矿-污泥活性炭及纯污泥活性炭进行了结构特性的比较分析,证明添加软锰矿将污泥活性炭的比表面积提高52.33%,是由于在制备过程中软锰矿催化了污泥中有机质的分解,同时也为新生炭提供了更多的骨架,促进了积炭反应的发生。软锰矿-污泥活性炭和纯污泥活性炭对废水中铅离子的吸附实验表明:当Pb2+初始浓度为40 mg/L、pH为5.0、活性炭用量为2 g/L、吸附时间为1 h时,软锰矿-污泥活性炭对废水中Pb2+的去除率可达88%,效果明显优于纯污泥活性炭。常温下软锰矿-污泥活性炭对Pb2+的吸附符合Langmuir吸附等温式。Abstract: An activated charcoal was prepared from pyrolusite-added sewage sludge by ZnCl2 activation method. And the active charcoal from pyrolusite-added and nature sewage sludge were analyzed by specific surface area、SEM、Infrared spectrum and O2-TPO. The result showed that the surface area of sludge activated charcoal could be enhanced 52.33% when the pyrolusite was added. Because the pyrolusite catalyzed the decomposition course of organics in the sewage sludge, it supplied more frameworks for the new formed carbon, facilitated the carbon deposit in the process of preparing activated charcoal from pyrolusite-added sewage sludge. The activated charcoal pyrolusite-added sewage sludge and the pure sewage sludge were used to remove lead ions in simulation wastewater. Comparative experimental result showed that: when the initial concentration of Pb2+ was 40 mg/L, the adsorbent dosage was 2 g/L, pH=5.0 and the time of adsorption was 1 h, the maximum adsorption rate of Pb2+ could reach 88% which was superior to pure sludge carbon obviously. And at the room-temperature, the absorbent’s adsorption of Pb2+ accords with the Langmuir equation.
