DETERMINATION OF CADMIUM IN SEA WATER BY GRAPHITE FURNACE ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROMETRY USING SODIUM PHOSPHATE AS A MATRIX MODIFIER

摘要: 本文描述了用Na3PO4作基体改进剂低温原子化石墨炉原子吸收光谱直接测定海水中痕量镉的方法。用Na3PO4作改进剂能够提高镉的灵敏度、减小氯化物、高氯酸盐和海水样品基体的干扰,并使海水中镉在850℃低温原子化,从而与背景吸收信号相分离。采用本方法测定海水中0.077μg/L镉的结果与用阳极溶出伏安法(ASV)测定结果相一致,海水中镉的回收率为94—103%。该方法简便、可靠。Abstract: A method is described for the determination of trace levels of cadmium in sea water by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry using Na3PO4 as a matrix modifier and low temperature atomization. The utilization of Na3PO4 would help to reduce matrix interferences caused by chlorides, perchlorates and other matrix components in the sample, and an enhancement of about 50% in cadmium absorbance was achieved. When Na3PO4 was added, the atomic signal of cadmium in sea water occnrs prior to the background absorption. The analytical results obtained for cadmium in sea water are in agreement with the values obtained by anodic stripping voltammetry, and an average recovery of 94-103% was achieved. The re-commended method is rapid and reliable.
